For the first time this year during the Sofia International Book Fair, 10-15 December 2013, was held a very interesting and ambitious event – Sofia International Literary Festival.
Each year the Festival will present writers from different countries. The first edition presented authors from the Balkans. More than 60 authors from the Balkans countries took participation and presented the best Balkan literature. The main program included literary readings, discussions, presentations.
The ambition is the Festival to become an annual international forum, each year to come guests from different countries, and mainly - to create a permanent stage for the best contemporary Bulgarian literature.
